
NDIS Specialist: Delivering Quality Services

As an NDIS Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality services to customers. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing individualized support plans, ensuring seamless coordination with healthcare professionals, family members, and guardians.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community services, human services, or nursing, with proven experience in managing teams, supervising staff, and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.
In this dynamic role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the NDIS team, including Service Agreements, care plans, documentation, and compliance. You will also be responsible for ensuring strict adherence to NDIS approvals, verifying services, and providing financial case management to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized support plans in consultation with customers, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Manage and supervise the NDIS team, including SIL/SDA housing, staff orientation, performance management, and billing.
- Liaise with customers, their representatives, and external agencies to ensure smooth transitions and integrated service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records, verify services, and ensure compliance with NDIS regulations.
- Provide financial case management services to customers and represent Just Better Care at external forums and meetings.
To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:
- Qualification in Community Services, Human Services, Nursing, or equivalent.
- Current and clear NDIS workers screen.
- Previous knowledge and experience across NDIS and SIL/SDA housing roles.
- Proven ability to work flexibly, respond to changing customer needs, and coordinate services according to program guidelines.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
