About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Garment Technician to join our team in Burnley. As a key member of our production process, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and fit in our men's and children's ranges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with designers to develop and produce garments that meet our quality, fit, and performance standards.
  • Create detailed technical specifications for all styles, including measurements, trims, and fabric requirements.
  • Work closely with pattern makers and manufacturers to resolve fit and construction issues, ensuring consistency across our products.
  • Oversee fabric testing, garment sampling, and production runs to guarantee quality control standards are met.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure accurate garment construction, fabric sourcing, and timely production schedules.
  • Troubleshoot any garment issues during production, proposing solutions to resolve technical or design challenges.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Garment Technician or in a similar technical garment role, preferably in menswear or children's fashion.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and garment fit, with hands-on experience in pattern making, grading, and garment fitting.
  • High level of accuracy in technical specifications, garment testing, and quality control processes.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly, providing effective solutions during the design, development, and production phases.
  • Experience using garment tech packs, Adobe Illustrator, and other relevant design and technical software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, manufacturers, and suppliers.
