Transform NSW Health through statewide education on abuse and protection. As a senior educator, you will lead a passionate team in delivering state-wide training to empower staff with skills to support those impacted by sexual assault and abuse.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and deliver evidence-based training programs and resources on violence, abuse & neglect to NSW Health workers, other government and non-government frontline staff.
  • Evaluate workforce capacity and training needs in relation to adult and sexual assault, child abuse and child protection, and domestic and family violence for NSW Health Violence, Abuse & Neglect workforces.
  • Collaborate in the development and delivery of programs on children under ten with problematic harmful sexual behaviours.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree qualifications in Behavioural Science, Social Work, Psychology or Counselling.
  • Proven experience working in NSW Health VAN services and/or related services providing responses to children, young people, adults and families who have experienced violence abuse and neglect, especially sexual assault.
  • Cultural competency and ability to apply culturally safe practices in the workplace.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines.
