We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading telecommunications infrastructure statewide.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and troubleshoot telecommunications infrastructure including WCDMA/LTE/4G/5G/NBN technologies.
- Install and terminate radio base stations, Hybriflex Cables, Coaxial feeder cables/tails, earthing, cable trays, diplexers, and combiners.
- Upgrade or install DC power rack systems including rectifiers, batteries, and load testing.
- Configure and capture status for Hand Over Packs (HOP's).
- Commission and integrate RBS into the network.
- Conduct PIM, VSWR, sweep, and fibre testing.
- Troubleshoot, replace defective equipment, and monitor site performance.
- Install and commission microwave indoor and outdoor units.
- Software installation, testing, and commissioning of sites.
