Job Title: Senior Health Systems Specialist

Description

This exciting opportunity is open to individuals who are passionate about contributing to health system performance and implementing patient flow improvement strategies across NSW. As a key member of the Ministry of Health team, you will focus on leading and managing the planning and delivery of critical and highly complex projects and patient flow performance support reviews.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple high-profile statewide projects while balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. A high attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality outcomes are essential for success in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating statewide projects to improve health service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Analysing data related to access and patient flow, developing reports and presenting findings to senior executives.
  • Designing performance support improvement programs tailored to different contexts and healthcare settings.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Intermediate knowledge of data analytics and experience in developing diagnostic reports.
  • Experience in leading complex projects to deliver organisational change at a state level.
