Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at Warradarge Wind Farm. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our wind turbines, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of wind turbines, including scheduled services and reactive maintenance.
  • Responding to site calls outside normal working hours to undertake emergency repairs.
  • Maintaining company vehicles and plant equipment in good condition.
  • Operating high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems within the limits of your training and authorization.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A recognized Australian trade certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Proficiency in PC and modern technologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings for fault-finding and maintenance activities.
  • Knowledge of PLC and/or SCADA systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined environments.
