Key Responsibilities:
  • Policymaking: Develop policy recommendations and strategies addressing key challenges and opportunities in the precinct.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Advocacy: Influence government policies and programs that impact the precinct.
  • Funding Acquisition: Identify and secure funding from various sources for projects enhancing the precinct's public spaces, amenities, liveability, infrastructure, and services.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including acting as a catalyst between various groups, government agencies, businesses, educational institutions, research organizations, developers, startups, and potential investors.
  • Financial Management: Effectively manage the budget for the precinct, allocating funds for policies, programs, and research initiatives that benefit the community.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant professional qualifications and bring proven leadership experience from senior executive roles in public, private, or non-profit sectors. A background in urban planning, policy-making, or placemaking would be beneficial. The successful applicant will have demonstrated success in leading teams, shaping strategic plans, and delivering impactful results, along with expertise in policymaking, advocacy, high-level stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and financial management.
