CBD Precinct Manager Position

We are seeking an accomplished and experienced professional to lead the implementation of our Revitalise Queen Street project. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across various Council divisions to coordinate planning, consultation, and development of the CDB Precinct Place Plan.

The role is responsible for driving engagement and enhancing collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to achieve a CBD Precinct with high visitation rates as a true mixed-use destination. As a CBD Precinct Manager, you will present information to executive decision-makers and direct the activity of the Precinct Working Group.

To be successful in this position, you will have relevant tertiary qualifications in public relations, public policy, urban placemaking, social and/or behavioural sciences or similar areas. You will also have experience working on similar-scale place-based/public domain/venue management initiatives and a commitment to contemporary community development in a place-based context.

As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a temporary full-time position (1 year contract) working 35 hours per week, salary from $118,657.56 to $128,439.14 per annum + 11.5% superannuation, generous leave provisions, plus flexible work arrangements, and generous professional development opportunities.
