Job Title: Crisis Support Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to work in the field of crisis support and provide holistic case management to individuals impacted by sexual misconduct.

The role involves assessing client needs, identifying and managing risk on an ongoing basis, developing case plans with clients, coordinating care, monitoring progress, and transitioning clients out of the service.

Additionally, you will work closely with Defence commanders and managers to provide advice and support regarding relevant policies and procedures, as well as psychological debriefing services.

">

Engagement with internal and external stakeholders is essential to facilitate holistic and informed support for our clients.

">

As a member of our team, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of education programs aimed at preventing sexual misconduct within the Defence community.

">

Successful applicants may be eligible for an Individual Flexibility Arrangement (IFA) after completing their six-month probation period, which could include additional remuneration or variation of other conditions.

Our 1800SeMPRO service is available to current and former Australian Defence Force members, APS employees, Defence contractors, and their families who have been impacted by sexual misconduct.

Our Client Response Team is dedicated to continuous learning and offers opportunities for professional development and collaboration with national and international partners.

Strong skills in technology are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of the Defence context and policies is highly regarded.
