About this critical role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate After Hours Family Violence Practitioner to join our team in delivering specialist crisis care after hours' service for women, young people and children experiencing family violence. This is an ideal opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable families.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing crisis intervention and support services during late night, weekend and public holiday periods.
This is a rostered, on call position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse individuals and stakeholders. The ability to think critically and respond to complex situations is also essential.
To succeed in this challenging role, you will require a strong understanding of the drivers/causes of family violence and child and family vulnerability. Experience in leading family violence practice within complex service delivery contexts is highly valued.
A key aspect of this position is the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high quality services to diverse communities. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those affected by family violence, we encourage you to apply.
