System Architect Position

We are seeking a highly skilled System Architect to join our team. This role will involve designing and implementing high-level system architecture supporting various technologies, including Virtualization, Storage, and network architectures.

The successful candidate will provide technical expertise and ownership of complex ICT infrastructure maintenance, implementation, and support. They will conduct preventative maintenance, audits, and reviews of existing infrastructure, identify and implement new system updates and firmware, and plan and manage changes.

Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for protecting software, server, and network integrity by managing access, monitoring security news, and acting on recommendations. They will also enforce best practice procedures for change management, software upgrades, and new product features or versions.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or technical diploma in IT/Systems or Computer Science
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in IT as a systems, network, server, storage, or managed services engineer
  • Senior-level knowledge and experience with Windows Servers, Virtualization Technologies (VMware preferred), Networking, TCP/IP, SAN Storage, Microsoft SQL Server, and project management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communications skills, and safety awareness
