Electrical Systems Engineer Role
- This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Electrical Engineer.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced electrical engineer with expertise in electrical system design, testing and implementation. As a senior electrical engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative electrical systems and products that meet the unique requirements of our business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles, techniques and technologies, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects from concept to market launch. You will be proficient in using industry-standard electrical design and simulation software and have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor junior engineers.
Job Description:
- Drive the Development of Innovative Electrical Systems and Products: Lead the development of electrical systems and products that meet the unique requirements of our business.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with other engineers and teams to integrate electrical systems into larger product designs.
- Provide Technical Guidance and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Create Comprehensive Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test procedures and technical reports.
- Ensure Compliance with Industry Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and safety requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior role within the defense, tech or fast-paced environment driving successful electrical engineering projects from concept to market launch.
- Expertise in electrical engineering principles, techniques and technologies.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard electrical design and simulation software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and mentor junior engineers.
- Strong time management and organisational abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
