Visual Effects Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Effects Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our animation department, you will be responsible for creating in-game and cinematic animations that bring our characters and worlds to life.
Your primary focus will be on crafting complex and believable animations using Motion Capture editing and Key Framing. You will work closely with our design and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Craft game motions for gameplay mechanics, cinematics, viewmodel/weapon animations, or third-person vignettes using Motion Capture editing and Key Framing.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of camera animation, cinematic framing, shot continuity, and facial animation.
- Respond to feedback and iterate to achieve high-quality AAA titles.
- Troubleshoot tool implementations and improve workflows for efficiency and creativity.
- Advising on performance concerns, scope assessment, and risk mitigation.
- Strong professional animation experience
- In-depth experience as a game animator
- Knowledge of Cinematic and Motion Capture Editing and cleanup
- Strong fundamentals in human movement
- Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies
- Expertise in Maya
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills across departments
- Mentoring abilities for Junior Animators
- Philosophical approach to character movement
