Visual Effects Specialist Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Effects Specialist to work on feature films and high-end commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • To create groundbreaking visual effects shots by compositing digital and live-action elements.
  • To match the color, lighting, and exposure of rendered computer-generated or photographed elements with plate photography.
  • To execute 2D and 3D tracks, extract and integrate mattes, layer elements, and grade color.
  • To apply grain and degrain when necessary, as well as paint fixes and rotoscoping.
  • To have a solid understanding of stereo (3D) and anamorphic compositing in Nuke.
  • To collaborate effectively with fellow artists from other disciplines to meet challenging production deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in node-based compositing for feature films and high-end commercial work.
  • Excellent proficiency in 3D multi-pass rendering techniques.
  • A strong aesthetic eye for photo-realism and color space concepts.
  • Superb communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A team-oriented mentality with a 'get it done' attitude.
  • The ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • The ability to take direction and implement feedback with a positive attitude.
  • Prior experience with Katana and Arnold is highly desirable.
