Visual Effects Designer

The creative studio is seeking a highly skilled Visual Effects Specialist to create stunning visual effects for high-end films. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating complex simulations, animations, and composites using commercial and proprietary tools.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing visual effects solutions using Maya, Houdini, and other industry-standard software
- Collaborating with directors and producers to bring their vision to life
- Working closely with the production team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality visual effects
Requirements include:
- Excellent knowledge of Maya and Houdini
- Strong understanding of animation and motion principles
- Experience with particle, rigid-body, fluid, cloth, fur, and hair simulations or animations
- Familiarity with at least one compositing application and pipeline issues
Preferred skills include:
- Knowledge of Python and/or Vex, Mel scripting
- Experience with Arnold or other render packages
- Programming skills with C/C++ and knowledge of the Houdini HDK and/or Maya API
