Systems Operations Manager

The primary role of this position is to oversee the day-to-day operations, optimization, and support of enterprise asset management and telematics systems. This includes fleet maintenance, spare parts inventory, automated work orders, asset lifecycle, financial integrations, telematics data insights, and ticketing compliance.
This involves ensuring seamless operations across various departments, including fleet, engineering, safety, and finance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for collaborating with external vendors, transport authorities, and regulators as required.
Key responsibilities include managing daily operations of EAM and telematics systems, ensuring system reliability, data accuracy, and compliance with maintenance and safety standards, and overseeing integration between EAM, telematics platforms, and financial systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Proven experience in business systems analysis or application support, ideally in transport, logistics, or asset-heavy industries.
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise Asset Management systems (e.g., Infor, Maximo, SAP, or similar).
- Experience working with telematics platforms for fleet monitoring and performance management.
- Experience with fare ticketing systems or transactional customer platforms.
- Strong understanding of system integrations between operations and financial systems.
- Familiarity with GTFS (General Transit Feed Specification) and NeTEx (Network Exchange) standards highly beneficial.
