Clerk - Roster Administration

We are seeking a skilled Rostering Clerk to join our team at Melbourne Airport. As a key member of our rostering team, you will be responsible for determining and obtaining aircraft loads and producing rosters/worksheets according to airlines SLAs.
- Processing annual leave requests;
- Allocating rostering patterns and creating new roster patterns in accordance with EBA conditions;
- Actioning and updating all schedule changes;
- Preparing an accurately completed worksheet for the SDS to use on shift;
- Undertaking training and working with new systems implemented into the business;
- Proactively managing staff allocation for training;
- Maintaining staff and business confidentiality;
- Working within dedicated budgets and providing detailed analytical reports;
- Understanding EBA and labour compliance, including relevant government and statutory requirements;
- Developing strong stakeholder management skills to ensure compliance and budgetary obligations are clearly articulated and plans are developed to meet these.
- Determining and Obtaining Aircraft Loads: Determining and obtaining aircraft loads and producing rosters/worksheets according to airlines SLAs;

- Staff Management: Undertaking training and working with new systems implemented into the business, proactively managing staff allocation for training, maintaining staff and business confidentiality;
- Financial Management: Working within dedicated budgets and providing detailed analytical reports, understanding EBA and labour compliance, including relevant government and statutory requirements;
- Stakeholder Management: Developing strong stakeholder management skills to ensure compliance and budgetary obligations are clearly articulated and plans are developed to meet these.
The successful applicant will have the highest level of attention to detail, an ability to self-manage, work under time restraints, and an ability to adapt quickly to changes and unexpected situations along with a strong commitment to our business direction and principles.
Selection Criteria:To be considered for this position you should address the following criteria in a written application:
- Have demonstrated a high level of reliability and responsibility;
- Knowledge of and vast understanding of our business including Service Level Agreements;
- Sound computer skills including MS Word and Excel;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Are proactive and able to prioritise jobs;

- Capable of working as part of a small team;

- The ability to work unsupervised and follow procedures;
- The ability to think strategically, problem solve and forecast long term objectives.
