Health and Injury Management Specialist

This role supports early, safe and sustainable return to work initiatives by enabling the employee's speedy recovery and smooth transition back to their workplace.

  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Managing a caseload of injury matters end to end
    • Supporting with claims lodgement and monitoring progress
    • Monitoring employee health and developing work rehabilitation and return to work programs
  • Acting as the first point of contact for stakeholders, providing advice and guidance on injury investigation and claims management processes

The ideal candidate will have qualifications in Injury Management/Insurance/Workers Compensation or Allied Health Profession or aligned, demonstrated experience working in injury management (physical and non-physical), and the ability to facilitate safe and sustainable return to work programs including building suitable duties plans.

You will be a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing advice and guidance on injury investigation and claims management processes. You will also manage a caseload of injury matters end to end, support with claims lodgement and monitoring progress, and monitor employee health and develop work rehabilitation and return to work programs.

This is a people-centric role that requires a caring and understanding approach. The successful candidate will have high levels of attention to detail, organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work effectively with various systems and portals.
