Health and Safety Expert Role

The Workplace Health, Safety and Environment Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving regional health and safety strategies that protect personnel and safeguard company assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and manage region-wide, best practice forward-looking WHSE programs aligned to business goals, values and compliance obligations.
  • Develop a culture of proactive risk identification, prevention and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with global leaders to align initiatives with global strategies and frameworks.
  • Provide expert support for major capital and operational projects across the region.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in safety or related field.
  • Ability to make independent judgments on complex issues.
  • Proven track record of creating organizational objectives and principles that achieve measurable results.
  • Strong ability to persuade stakeholders and drive collaboration.
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert in relevant professional domains.

This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong personal qualities including ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
