Job Title: Regional Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced Regional Health and Safety Manager to join our team in NSW/ACT. This role involves leading the development and implementation of a systems approach to health and safety, including providing accurate and timely advice.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders. They will also have a strong understanding of health and safety principles and practices, as well as experience in complex, site-based infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the development and implementation of a systems approach to HSE
  • Provide accurate and timely HSE advice to key influencers, including people leaders and project managers/directors
  • Develop and implement HSE risk management processes and facilitate their maintenance
  • Monitor and measure HSE performance using established metrics
  • Analyse incidents and nonconformities, identifying failures or inadequacies of controls
  • Implement processes for knowledge collection and management to enable positive HSE outcomes
About You:

You will be a skilled HSE professional with a tertiary qualification and relevant work experience. Your expertise lies in developing safety processes, compliance, and optimisation of Safety systems to mitigate risk and promote safe work environments. You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence others to achieve positive health and safety outcomes.
