Role Summary
A legal assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting lawyers within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to successful outcomes for clients. This role requires a high level of organisation and attention to detail, ensuring the smooth operation of files and client management across various matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with solicitors on day-to-day operations, including file management and client interactions.
- Prepare essential documents and correspondence for conferences and hearings.
- Develop briefs and documents with precision and accuracy.
- Coordinate medico-legal appointments and foster strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to optimising internal systems to manage information effectively.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a legal assistant or paralegal is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Intermediate Word and Excel skills are necessary.
