Senior Trade Compliance Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Trade Risk Specialist to join our Customs Compliance Enforcement and Targeted Trade Risk team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and mitigating trade-related risks, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and laws.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of trade data to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement cargo profiles and targeting products to detect and deter non-compliance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and assess offences against relevant legislation
- Design and develop effective solutions to mitigate trade-related risks
About the Role:
This is a key role within our National Operations division, specializing in Customs Compliance Enforcement and Targeted Trade Risk. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the integrity of goods moving through the border and preventing revenue evasion and systemic fraud.
Key Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- Knowledge of customs regulations and laws, and experience working with trade data and systems
