Job Description

This is a senior-level role that requires oversight of the end-to-end compliance function across trading, retail and commercial partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks.

The key responsibilities include overseeing and maintaining the Energy Markets Risk governance framework, leading compliance planning, controls monitoring and reporting for trading and retail functions, coordinating regulatory compliance activities, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc compliance and risk reports to senior committees.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in senior roles across compliance, risk management, assurance or internal audit within a complex regulatory environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to build credibility across senior leadership and operational teams.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple workstreams and simplify complex compliance issues.
  • Experience with energy markets, financial services or professional services highly regarded.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a focus on delivering timely, accurate and meaningful reporting.
