About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Content Supervisor to lead our Arabic news team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who can oversee the production of high-quality content, ensuring it meets the highest standards of journalism and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in broadcast television production, with experience in supervising teams, managing workflows, and maintaining quality control.

In this role, you will work closely with the Executive Producer to develop and implement content strategies, coordinate with producers and editors, and ensure timely delivery of programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise content production, including vision, scripts, graphics, and audio elements;
  • Maintain quality control, ensuring compliance with SBS Charter and regulatory requirements;
  • Coordinate with producers, editors, and other stakeholders to deliver programs on time;
  • Develop and implement content strategies, working closely with the Executive Producer;
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to improve their skills and performance;
  • BaRequirements
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in broadcast television production, preferably in a supervisory role;
    • Strong knowledge of Australian media law and regulatory requirements;
    • Proficiency in written and spoken English and broadcast standard Arabic;
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders;
    • Proven ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously;
    • Ability to provide coaching and guidance to team members to improve their skills and performance;

    Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
