About the Role

As a Multilingual News Planning Producer at SBS Arabic TV, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our news broadcasting. We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the planning and production of our Arabic-language television news bulletin.

Key Responsibilities
  • SUPERVISE content quality, consistency, and timeliness for the Arabic TV News Bulletin.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Producer to ensure alignment with the department's goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including news teams, journalists, and external partners.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong journalism background with experience in supervising and editing TV content.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and broadcast standard Arabic.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of Australia's legal framework and media law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
