Renewable Energy Operations Lead

About the Role
  • This is a high-profile position for managing the operational aspects of solar farms.
  • You will oversee operations and maintenance activities to ensure they meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans to optimize the long-term profitability, plant reliability, and risk minimization of solar farms.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships, including project scope review, proposal development, and close-out documentation upon project completion.
  • Collaborate with the Contracts Manager, Safety Manager, Project Engineering Team, Finance Team, and other staff members to deliver high-quality services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a reputable institution.
  • Proven experience in all aspects of renewable energy operations and maintenance.
  • Ability to manage a solar farm site as a lead operations manager.
  • Experience managing subcontractors against their contracts.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management related to operations and service delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey engineering principles to executive partners and customers.
