About the role

JPC Electrical and Solar is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solar and Electrical Apprentice / Trades Assistant to join our growing team in Gawler, SA. As a full-time position, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the electrical and solar installation industries, with a focus on gaining valuable hands-on experience.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting experienced electricians and solar installers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and solar systems
  2. Learning how to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
  3. Developing skills in the safe handling and operation of tools and equipment
  4. Gaining experience in the installation of solar panels, inverters, and related electrical components
  5. Supporting the team with general electrical and solar-related tasks as required

  2. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  3. Good physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
