As a Front of House Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks efficiently and effectively.
- Verifying age requirements and adhering to local and national liquor laws regarding alcohol consumption.
- Pouring traditional drinks and mixing cocktails with precision.
- Processing payments accurately and efficiently.
- Managing stock levels, cellar processes, and bar supplies to maintain a well-stocked and organized environment.
- Maintaining a clean and welcoming restaurant and bar area, adhering to high hygiene standards.
- Providing exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer requests, and ensuring all needs are met.
- Communicating clearly, listening attentively, and providing accurate information to customers.
- Demonstrating attention to detail and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
- Ensuring seamless communication with customers across various channels, including in-person, phone, and online interactions.
- Consistently demonstrating friendliness, politeness, and a positive attitude, establishing a strong rapport with customers.
- Operating efficiently and productively, making informed decisions to meet customer needs.
- Staying up-to-date on Brown & Blacks' offerings, products, and services, sharing knowledge with customers to enhance their experience.
- Providing exceptional service in both the bar and restaurant areas, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience.
- Preparing service areas, setting up glasses, cutlery, crockery, and equipment as needed.
- Asking questions and listening carefully to customer responses to accurately establish their needs.
- Providing detailed information on menus and making knowledgeable recommendations to customers.
- Upselling products when appropriate and taking accurate food and drink orders.
- Communicating order details to the kitchen team and checking dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation.
- Clearing tables, washing and polishing glasses, cutlery, crockery, and equipment, and managing waste.
- Performing all tasks safely and in compliance with Brown & Blacks' Food Hygiene and Safety standards.
Applicants must be aged 18 or older to work in the bar.
Pay is negotiable based on experience.
