About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Alstom, a global leader in the rail industry. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our railway systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair signalling and telecoms equipment in accordance with specified procedures.
- Perform fault troubleshooting, investigation, and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues.
- Mitigate the risk of in-service failures through proactive intervention and maintenance.
- Install system hardware and software upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform isolations as necessary to ensure safe working practices.
- Provide daily and weekly reports on activities, issues found, and measures taken.
About You
We value passion and attitude over experience. If you are a team player with a can-do attitude, we encourage you to apply. While experience in telecommunications or transport is preferred, it is not essential. What is important is that you have a Certificate III in Electrotechnology and a current NSW Electrical Licence.
