Job Title:

Construction Project Manager

Description:

Lead the planning, execution, and completion of building construction projects. This involves overseeing every aspect, including budgeting, resource allocation, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of project delivery, including labour, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Develop and implement effective project management systems to ensure smooth operations and minimize risks.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and make adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
  • Train and mentor project staff on best practices and industry standards.
  • Make informed decisions regarding project scope, timeline, and resources based on data-driven insights.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in commercial building construction and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Building Code Technical Specifications and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in using project management software, such as MYOB Advanced Construction or Autodesk Construction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with safety and environmental regulations, as well as quality control processes.
Qualifications:
  • A recognized qualification in a building trade and current driver's license.
  • Additional certifications or courses in project management may be beneficial.
Preferred Location:

South East QLD or Northern NSW, with some flexibility for regional or remote work.
