CPB Contractors has more than 50 major infrastructure projects in delivery, across all key sectors of the construction industry, including roads and bridges, rail, tunnelling, defence, airports, buildings and resources, providing you with career opportunities for years to come.Your opportunityWe are seeking to appoint a highly experienced Construction Director to join the project team on this large significant infrastructure project based in Queensland.RoleReporting into the Project Director, this role will have responsibility of leading the construction team to deliver the project to programme and budget.
This position will lead, direct and coordinate the operation of the project construction to achieve set objectives for safety, cost, programme, quality and environmental performance.
With a proven track record in delivering large scale construction project (with a focus on heavy concrete civil), the right candidate will have:Successfully delivered a major heavy infrastructure projects valued at over $1BSignificant experience in relevant construction management roles with prior experience working for major civil contractorsHigh level of technical understanding and experience in technically complex engineering projects with a particular focus on heavy concrete structures (ie dams)Genuine commitment to safety and a proactive approach to safety processes and practices on siteRelevant degree qualification in engineering desirableWell-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
This role is based in Brisbane and will be drive in, drive out to the project location when doing site works.
