The Role
We're looking for an experienced
Estimator
to join our Brisbane team. This role is ideal for someone who has worked hands-on in the industry and wants to bring their trade and site knowledge into a detailed, office-based role. You'll be responsible for preparing accurate costings, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring our clients receive clear and professional proposals.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate estimates for residential renovations and extensions
Read and interpret plans, specifications, and scopes of work
Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor quotes
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Collaborate closely with the director, architect, and site team
Maintain and update costing databases
About You
We're after someone with
real-world construction experience
— you'll have worked as one or more of the following:
Carpenter
Builder
Project Manager
Site Supervisor
You will also have:
Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in pricing
Good computer skills and familiarity with estimating software, including
BuildXact
and Buildertrend (or similar)
Strong organisational and communication skills
