Workforce Planning Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Workforce Planner to join our team, ensuring the smooth delivery of our research projects. This is a key role in shaping the future of our operations and contributing to meaningful insights that help Australia understand itself better.

This position offers a unique chance to work with a legacy company that has earned an unparalleled reputation for accuracy, reliability, and insightful data analysis. As our Workforce Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects are resourced and delivered successfully.

  • Maintain a current state view of interviewer availability and capacity.
  • Identify project-specific gaps and collaborate with Recruitment to fill location/area requirements.
  • Partner with Field Managers to allocate interviewers to projects and areas based on availability and skills.
  • Develop and lead weekly, monthly, and forward planning (4-week, 3-month, 6-month, 12-month outlooks).
  • Provide a cross-project overlay of interviewer requirements to ensure resources are optimised.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in workforce planning, scheduling, or WFM for large casual workforces.
  • Demonstrated success managing hundreds of staff with variable availability.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with rostering platforms.
  • Strong data interpretation and scenario-modelling skills.
  • A confident communicator who influences without direct authority and thrives in a fast-moving, multi-project environment.
