Job Title: Employee Experience Specialist

We are seeking an Employee Experience Specialist to oversee and support the onboarding process, foster positive inductions into our program, enhance employer brand, and support organizational goals.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a team leader or supervisor role, high level proficiency in written and verbal English, minimum 3 years HR experience in a generalist setting, experience with and understanding of local employment law and legislation in Australia, ability to work with multiple stakeholders and leaders, and passion for the employee experience and environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support new employee onboarding to foster positive inductions into our program, enhance employer brand, and support organisational goals.
  • Follow local HR practices & processes and ensure compliance with local legislation.
  • Proactively advise managers and employees on conditions of employment, HR policies and processes.
  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives with the support of operating leaders.
  • Engage, coach, mentor, and support managers, supervisors, and employees to develop great career pathways within the team.
  • Help to facilitate people issues as they arise and advise operational leaders in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Work with all levels of employees to develop employee engagement and retention action plans.
  • Foster the development of a culture where employees feel cared for, included, respected, and valued through leading DEI initiatives and projects.
  • Proactively identify areas in HR policies and processes to improve efficiency and increase staff motivation and retention.
  • Work closely with the wider People Operations team across Asia Pacific on a number of exciting people projects.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a team leader or supervisor role desired but not required.
  • High level proficiency in written and verbal English.
  • Minimum 3 years HR experience in a generalist setting.
  • Experience with and understanding of local employment law and legislation in Australia.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and leaders.
  • Ability to work in a team and influence across job functions and company levels.
  • Passionate about the employee experience and environment.
