Job Opportunity

Quality and Compliance Assistant:

This position involves contributing to the end-to-end delivery of quality and compliance activities, focusing on ISO 9001/45001 and DASR 145 regulatory requirements.

  • Supporting internal/external systems and processes to ensure compliance with national airworthiness authorities, approvals, and customer demands.
  • Assisting in audits, third-party supplier assessments, and completing investigations.
  • Monitoring and reporting regulatory activities and requirements.
  • General administrative duties related to the safety management system database.
  • Implementing solutions for regulatory gaps and contributing to the management and scheduling of the regulatory baseline audit program.

Main Responsibilities:

Conducting audits, including JetSafe interfaces, distribution of findings, and monitoring of overdue actions and responses.

Investigating occurrences related to airworthiness, design, or production operations and reporting on findings as required.

Supporting SQEHS teams with the development and/or delivery of regulatory or compliance-based training.

Reviewing approved suppliers and sub-contractors, identifying emerging issues and risks, and facilitating the SQEHS Forum.

Key Requirements:

Experience in continuous improvement principles within an ISO 9001 accredited organization.

Knowledge of developing and implementing Quality Management frameworks in a large, diverse matrix organization.

Demonstrated experience in the Aviation Industry working within similar roles and/or equivalent exposure within an aviation environment.

Relevant auditor qualification or willingness to obtain one.

Extensive knowledge of DASA/CASA Regulations and understanding of Safety Management Systems.

Intermediate computer skills and prior experience using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and ERP systems.

Strong analytical and attention to detail skills, problem-solving skills, effective communication, and prioritization skills.

Personal values aligned with industry standards.

Work Environment:

The employee must be able to work in both heavy maintenance environments and upscale customer areas.

A moderate noise level is typical, with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart.

Ongoing exposure to vibration is expected.
