Graduate Metallurgist Role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Metallurgist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in extractive metallurgy or chemical engineering.

About the Job

This role offers exposure to multiple processing plants, with hands-on experience in plant optimisation, metallurgical procedures, sampling, and all processing functions. As a Graduate Metallurgist, you will work closely with experienced professionals to develop your knowledge and skills.

You will contribute to the operation and maintenance of our processing plants, ensuring efficient and safe production. Additionally, you will collaborate with our team to identify and implement process improvements and innovations.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to develop and maintain strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with experienced professionals to develop your knowledge and skills in extractive metallurgy and chemical engineering
  • Contribute to the operation and maintenance of processing plants, ensuring efficient and safe production
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements and innovations
  • Develop and maintain strong communication and teamwork skills
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in extractive metallurgy or chemical engineering
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening
