About Our Graduate Metallurgist Opportunity

We aim to develop well-rounded professionals in the field of extractive metallurgy. We can provide both practical and office-based experience, with mentoring and guidance from experienced industry professionals.

Our focus is on creating a successful career path for graduates who are eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gain exposure to multiple processing plants as we currently have 4 plants producing over 5mtpa combined.
  • Develop expertise in plant optimisation, metallurgical procedures, sampling, and all processing functions.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Qualification in Extractive Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering.
  • Practical experience or vacation time deemed advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of operation.
  • Possess a current and valid Manual Driver's Licence.
  • Possess a National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months.
  • The ability to pass Westgold's pre-employment process.
