Job Description

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dedicated team supporting individuals with disabilities.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to lead a small team of Behaviour Support Practitioners, guiding and mentoring them to ensure quality service delivery to NDIS participants.

The ideal candidate will have completed a degree qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or similar, and be endorsed as a Proficient Practitioner.

A strong understanding of good clinical practice and contemporary practices in service provision for people with intellectual and/or cognitive disabilities is essential.

This role requires a candidate with excellent leadership skills, experience in mentoring BSPs or leadership/management experience in the human services sector, including disability, health, family support or a similar service area.

Key responsibilities include reviewing positive behaviour support plans, encouraging a team-oriented approach, and monitoring team goals and objectives.
