Food and Beverage Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage outlets.


Main Responsibilities
  • Guest Service Attend to guests' needs and desires promptly and efficiently.
  • Outlet Supervision Coordinate the supervision of food and beverage outlets as rostered, ensuring high-quality service standards are met.
  • Inter-Departmental Interaction Maintain effective inter-departmental interaction within the hotel at all levels.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance Ensure departments are presented in a neat, clean, and functional manner, addressing any maintenance or cleaning issues promptly.
  • Training and Development Provide proper training for all food and beverage team members to maintain consistent and professional service levels.
  • Presentation Standards Ensure team members adhere to professional presentation standards, including correct grooming, uniforms, and name badges.
  • Theoretical and On-the-Job Training Participate in planning and conducting theoretical and on-the-job training sessions.
  • Occupational Health and Safety Have thorough knowledge and practice established occupational health and safety guidelines.
  • Table Bookings and Cashiering Manage reservations systems for table bookings effectively and follow cashiering policies and procedures accurately.
  • Maintenance and Security Maintain operating equipment with the maintenance manager, ensure area security, especially after hours, and secure doors, fridges, and items before closing.
  • Daily Revenue Audits Audit daily revenue charges and covers accurately.
  • Communication and Teamwork Establish open communication channels with F&B personnel for cohesive teamwork and report all issues clearly.
  • Stock Management Requisition stock weekly to maintain par levels and assist with monthly stock counting.
