About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Coal Logistics Officer in Newcastle. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth planning and execution of coal vessel operations, from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with clients and local port authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and contractual requirements.
  • Manage the submission and compliance of coal vessels, including planning arrivals, berthing, loading, and departures.
  • Account for stock railed, loaded, and transferred within the port, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
  • Prepare documentation for shipment on behalf of our clients, adhering to strict compliance with relevant contracts.
  • Work independently and as part of a cohesive team to ensure smooth port calls and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about business opportunities, port activities, and regulatory updates to remain effective in your duties.

  • Valid Australian work permit, driver's license, and driving experience, along with eligibility for a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
