About The Role

We are currently seeking a Talent Coordinator to join our high-performing Recruitment team. This role can be based in either our Sydney or Newcastle office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all candidate pre-employment checks and onboarding activities for WHC employees both domestically and internationally.
  • Prepare and send new employment contracts, ensuring they are stored appropriately, for domestic and international candidates.
  • Support the monitoring of preferred recruitment tools, including XRef and CV Check.
  • Manage the referral program to ensure referrals are contacted and payments are made to the referrer.
  • Manage the labor hire transfer process across Whitehaven.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for prospective candidates and employees to attend site visits.
  • Provide support and updates to the Recruitment Business Partners in the coordination of candidates in the onboarding process.
  • Initiate and manage the completion of new starter onboarding, ensuring all requirements are completed prior to the employee commencing.

Requirements

  • Previous exposure to HR/Talent coordination and/or strong administration background.
  • Qualifications in business administration (desirable).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player.
