Job Title: Service Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Service Operations Manager to lead daily service operations in a high-volume venue. The ideal candidate will champion guest experience, coach and roster teams, uphold service standards, and partner closely with other departments to deliver smooth and profitable services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coach teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences across all services.
  • Oversee floor operations, section allocations, reservations, and waitlist management.
  • Drive sequence-of-service, table-touches, upselling, and guest recovery protocols.
  • Collaborate with leaders on menu launches and service coordination.
  • Manage labor against budgets; interpret daily/weekly profit and loss statements and service key performance indicators.
  • Maintain compliance with liquor laws, incident reporting, and safety protocols.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop team members; run pre-shift briefs and training sessions.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant cash handling, point of sale, and end-of-day procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2–3 years' recent leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage service standards, and handle guest recovery.
  • Working knowledge of labor planning, budgets, stock, and point of sale systems.
  • Strong wine and spirits knowledge with confident, guest-facing communication skills.
  • Current liquor license (or ability to obtain before start).
  • Availability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
