About the role


We are looking for experienced Rail Signalling Electricians to join our team at Laing O'Rourke Rail Operations- Signalling (NSW). As a Track Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing varying levels of Signalling works for activities being undertaken in the rail corridor.


The ideal candidate will have a Current C Class Drivers Licence, Construction industry white card, Rail Industry Worker Card (RIW), with Licenced Sydney Trains Signal Electrician, Minimum 2 years' experience in similar role, Certificate of Competency on both Sydney Trains and ARTC networks as a signal electrician, Full ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including Rail CAT Specific medical & drug and alcohol screening.


To succeed, you will need to be an excellent communicator, able to work with high-performance rail teams, available to cover weekends based on project requirements, commit to ensuring that all requirements of Signalling Safeworking rules are implemented in the field, follow Laing O'Rourke Next Gear Safety Principles, undertake additional training as and when required, and be willing to mentor and train new team members joining the project team.


We offer a competitive salary package of around $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as flexible work arrangements, family-friendly work practices, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

  • Implement Signalling works for activities being undertaken in the rail corridor
