About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Regulatory Investigator to join our team and contribute to the enforcement of regulations within Tobacco Licensing Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections, observations, and risk management discussions at relevant premises.
  • Recommend appropriate enforcement actions, including commencing investigations or other enforcement activities in accordance with TLV policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to conduct inspections and search warrants of premises to ensure compliance with the Tobacco Act 1987.
  • Document and record all compliance activities in accordance with legislation, policy, and procedures.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent training/experience is highly desirable.
  • A tertiary qualification in law, investigations, or a related field is desirable.
  • A Victorian Drivers' Licence or equivalent is required.
