Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role requires timely creation, maintenance, and delivery of product documentation, registration, and certifications as well as responding to customer requests to support overall business strategy.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and be able to provide guidance and recommendations to the Sales and Technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to compliance queries, providing accurate and timely information to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Manage external product registration and certification, including but not limited to Halal, Kosher, and TGA.
  • Regularly update regulatory databases with data from suppliers, associations, customers, and legislation.
  • Capture, prioritize, and track all requests from internal stakeholders and affiliate sites, managing associated requests via online systems.
  • Prioritize and respond to product, compliance, regulatory, and information queries from customers in a timely manner.
  • Complete customer-specific questionnaires and documentation.
  • Other duties directed by the Regulatory Supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a science-related discipline preferred.
  • Several years of experience in providing regulatory and compliance information in food or beverage in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Australian or New Zealand Food Standards.
  • Technical or Quality Experience preferred but not required.
