Project Mine Geologist - Open Pit

This is an exciting time to be part of a dynamic team in the gold mining industry. With production underway at Paulsens and Kal East, a robust project pipeline, and rapid exploration across our tenements, we have a clear vision of sustainable multi-operation gold production.

We are seeking a Project Mine Geologist - Open Pit for the Kalgoorlie project to help position it for long-term success. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior geologist to facilitate grade control practices that optimise ore recovery in an open pit environment.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Facilitating grade control practices that optimise ore recovery in an open pit environment.
  • Working closely with the Senior geologist to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Mentoring junior mine geologists and managing a small team.
  • Developing and implementing geological software used in mining, including Leapfrog, Surpac, Datamine, and Acquire.
  • Demonstrating knowledge and experience with grade control, Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) sampling and mapping practices, reporting, mine reconciliation, and mining methods, systems and processes.
