Open Pit Mining Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Open Pit Mining Professional to join our team on a short-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a busy open pit mine, working closely with geologists, surveyors, and production supervisors as part of the Mine Technical Services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Blasthole and face sampling, preparation, and dispatch
  • Marking ore/waste boundaries and assisting with excavation plans
  • ROM stockpile management and ore spotting to minimize dilution
  • Survey pickups, pit mark-ups, and compliance checks
  • Monitoring pit conditions and reporting hazards
  • Accurate data and sample recording
Roster & Location
  • FIFO from Perth
  • 8 days on/6 days off
  • Contract length: 3 swings
