About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in South Australia. As a key member of our tender/cost planning function, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects relating to resources and costs have been considered in the preparation of tenders. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a range of different projects and clients, driving company safety policies and practices in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender/Cost Planning: Perform a key role within the tender/cost planning function, ensuring that all aspects relating to resources and costs have been considered.
  • Safety Policies: Proactively drive company safety policies, practices and procedures in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times.
  • Industry Software: Utilisation of industry software to present cost plans and tenders in a clear and concise format.
  • Tender Preparation: Preparation of tenders on the basis of D&C, GMP, Turnkey and other forms of contract.
  • Negotiations: Assist the team in negotiating tenders, conditions, etc.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline together with solid experience in cost planning/estimating experience.
  • Clear understanding of industry construction techniques and proficient and proven skills in industry software.
  • Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the external and internal business environment.
