Job Description

This role involves performing various quantity surveying functions, including estimating, planning, and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting while exercising sound financial acumen. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on proactively maximising value for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with clients, architects, and main contractors
  • Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities
  • Master-plan and feasibility budgets
  • Cost checking of developing design
  • Value engineering
  • Tender evaluations and analysis
  • Contract negotiations
  • Cash flow projects
  • Procurement
  • Cost reporting
  • Evaluation of variations
  • Valuations
  • Final account reporting
  • Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation, and settlement of claims
  • Investment analysis
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is around $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management. RICS/AIQS accreditation is highly regarded. Proficiency in the use of Cost X is also essential. A highly motivated individual with a passion for delivering excellence to clients is required.
