
Cancer Care Support Professional

Overview:
Facing cancer requires great strength and resilience. Our team of Patient Services Coordinators works closely with clinical and administrative staff to provide exceptional patient care in our clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greets patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner, checking them in and informing clinical staff of their arrival.
- Provides and explains necessary paperwork for patients to complete prior to examination, collecting, proofing for completeness, and filing patient forms, updating demographics and insurance information in the system, and collecting co-pays and balances.
- Answers routine questions and responds promptly to patient inquiries.
- Completes patient check-in and out processes after examination, scheduling returning appointments in accordance with physician and/or office guidelines.
- Records patient cancellations and missed appointments, rescheduling as needed, and notifies relevant staff members of the cancellation.
- Provides general administrative support to ensure seamless clinic operations.
